Climate protection in times of crisis

EU Green Deal, "Fit for 55", rising CO2 prices and court rulings in favor of climate protection. In the last two years, the knot in European climate protection seemed to have finally been broken, and the omens for achieving climate neutrality at the turn of the century were encouraging. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, however, this optimism has faded. Uncertainty is spreading. What does the war mean for climate protection? Is there a renaissance of fossil energies? And do we have enough money to make the necessary investments? These questions are addressed in the lecture by Prof. Karen Pittel.
